Wyoming Christian Universities & Bible Colleges

The rugged beauty of Wyoming has attracted many tourists and residents alike. Wyoming is home to both grassland plains and majestic mountains as well as such famous sites as Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, and Grand Teton National Park. Hikers, campers, and skiers will all delight in the natural offerings of Wyoming. The state also has a tradition of women’s rights as both the first state to grant women the right to vote and as the first state to elect a female governor.

While tourism plays an important role in the economy of Wyoming, several other industries do as well. Mining and wool production are both central to the economy, as is sheep and lambs and several agricultural crops. These aren’t the only support for the economy, though, and Wyoming Labor Market Information indicates that the highest paying jobs in the state include engineers, educators, managers, lawyers, veterinarians, and clergy. Most of these jobs require higher education, particularly a Bachelor’s degree.

In order to qualify for these jobs in Wyoming, an education is necessary. Perhaps you plan to get your education from a Christian university or Bible college to make this happen. Most of the Christian schools in Wyoming are smaller, with a focus primarily on religious teachings. One example of this type of school is Frontier School of the Bible, where students can select from a one-year certificate, three-year associate degree, or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Bible studies with a variety of religious majors. Another type of Christian school available in Wyoming is Jackson Hole Bible College, where students spend one year studying the scriptures. Students with a GPA over 2.0 receive a diploma and transferable credits to continue their education at a larger school of their choosing.
