Outdoor enthusiasts will love the fact that West Virginia is home to the largest outdoor recreation center in the eastern US–the Allegheny Highlands–where hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and swimming are all popular activities. Schools like Ohio Valley College offer students the opportunity to pursue both traditional degrees in fields such as business, education, and science or to pursue a religious degree. Other schools, like Appalachian Bible College focus specifically on religious studies with degrees in such fields as Bible Study or Theological and Ministerial Studies. Either route will ensure that you receive a quality education in an environment that is firmly rooted in the Christian faith.
