New York Christian Universities & Bible Colleges

While New York City is very famous and almost needs no introduction, the state of New York is more than just the city. Outside the city, New York consists of farmland, mountains, the amazing Niagara Falls, and many up-and-coming wineries. New York is a state that has something for everyone with outdoor activities, slower-paced small towns, and the bustling activity of the big city.

With an unemployment rate lower than the national average, it appears that New York hasn’t felt the full brunt of the economic turbulence taking place around the country. According to New York State Department of Labor, the most in-demand jobs include accountants, teachers, chief executives, social workers, and counselors and psychologists. These jobs require a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, which in New York, will not only qualify you for in-demand jobs, but will earn you an average of around $20,000 more a year.

Getting that important degree can be done easily at a Christian university or college in New York. The options available for getting an education at religious-based schools in the state are numerous. Larger schools such as Nyack or Roberts Wesleyan College provide students the opportunity to earn either a traditional degree or a religious degree. Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhDs are often options for students at these schools. Smaller schools may not provide as many degree options, but allow for a tighter focus on religious studies with Bachelor’s degrees in Bible Study or similar curriculums, as is offered at Word of Life Bible Institute. Whichever path you may choose, the Christian schools in New York are sure to provide a positive, Christ-centered environment for both on and off-campus activities.
