Students at Ohio Christian University will be served in their faith and education by the Bible-focused and Christ-centered programs offered by the school. Ohio Christian University was founded in 1948 and has its main campus in Circleville, Ohio. The school was created out of the need for ministers that could spread the message of the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. Rev. Willard Cozard helped to found the school not only to encourage students to take up a career in the ministry but to help them do it within their own community. So in 1948, the Mount of Praise Bible School opened its doors. Since then, the school has undergone many changes, formerly known as Circleville Bible College and today the school has expanded to include both the programs offered on campus and online programs for adult learners as well.
