Founded in 1919 by J.W Lusby and J.O. Snodgrass, Kentucky Christian University was originally known as the Christian Normal Institute and taught not only college courses but high school and teacher education as well. In 1944 the school began focusing on its Christian purpose and changed its name and educational offerings. Today, the schoolís campus in Grayson, Kentucky is home to thousands of students working towards degrees in a range of majors.

Every student at Kentucky Christian University, regardless of their major, will take core classes that focus on the Bible and theology.
